Ann Pelham has spent her career in journalism, working as a reporter and editor for more than 20 years. From 1998 to 2008, she served as publisher of Legal Times, a newspaper focused on law and lobbying in Washington, D.C. Ms. Pelham received her Bachelor's degree from Duke University in 1974. Since 2004, Ann has been a member of the board of directors of Canal Insurance Company, a privately held property and casualty insurer focusing on the transportation sector. She also serves on the boards of the Jean and Heyward Pelham Foundation and of the Washington Tennis and Education Foundation in Washington, D.C. She and her husband, Bob Cullen, live in Chevy Chase, Maryland, and have two adult children, Catherine Cullen, a 2006 Duke graduate, and Pete Cullen.
