Michael Douglas

Born September 25, 1944, in New Brunswick, NJ; son of Kirk Douglas (an actor, producer, and writer; original name, IssurDanielovitch Demsky) and Diana Dill (an actress); brother of Joel Douglas (adirector and producer); half-brother of Peter Douglas (a actor, director, producer, and writer) and Eric Douglas (an actor and comedian); married DiandraLuker (a model and art museum employee), March 20, 1977 (divorced); married Catherine Zeta-Jones (an actress), November 18, 2000; children: (first marriage) Cameron Morrell; (second marriage) Dylan Michael. Education: University of California, Santa Barbara, B.A., 1968; trained for the stage at Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center, National Playwrights Conference, Waterford, CT,for three summers in the 1960s; studied acting with Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse and with Wynn Handman at the American Place Theatre.
