Jason Matthews

Since 2006, Matthews has served as chief of staff for Senator Mary Landrieu, where he worked to advance the Senator’s legislative agenda as well as develop strategy and positions to enhance her re-election in 2008. Matthews’ work with Senator Landrieu began when he was a deputy issues director for the Mary Landrieu for Senate Campaign in 1996; he soon climbed the ranks of the Senator’s D.C. office working as a legislative assistant, legislative director, and deputy chief of staff before becoming chief of staff.
