Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) announcedLisa R. Davis has been appointed vice president, Communications for the Electronic Systems sector, effective June 18, 2014. Davis comes to Northrop Grumman from her most recent position as vice president, Corporate Affairs for MedImmune, the global biologics arm of AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals. Prior to that, she was vice president, Corporate Communications for AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, U.S. Davis has also held senior communications positions with the AARP, the Democratic Leadership Council and the American Bar Association. She was deputy press secretary for the Clinton-Gore 1996 re-election campaign and served as governmental affairs liaison for Rep. Alan Wheat. Davis earned a bachelor's degree in communications studies at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro and master's degrees in business administration and public administration from Howard University. She is an Advisory Board member of the Healthcare Businesswoman's Association Mid-Atlantic Region and a member of the Insight Committee for the George Mason University School of Communications.
