Bryan Malinowski, the executive director of the Bill and Hillary Clinton Airport in Little Rock, Arkansas., was injured during a firefight Tuesday March 19 after 6 a.m. as Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents arrived. Malinowski's older brother, Matthew Malinowski, 55 of Pennsylvania, was at his bedside Wednesday and said he didn't know whether his brother would survive. "He was shot in the head." Malinowski joined Clinton National in 2008 as Director of Properties, Planning and Development and was promoted to Deputy Director in 2009. The Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission appointed him Executive Director in November 2019. Previously, Malinowski held leadership positions with Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, El Paso International Airport and Lehigh Valley International Airport. Malinowski holds a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from the Florida Institute of Technology. He is a Certified Member of the American Association of Airport Executives Accredited Airport Executive Program and is a certified flight instructor with instrument and multi-engine ratings.
