Bryant (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Missouri's 7th Congressional District. He lost in the Republican primary on August 2, 2022. Alex Bryant is an officeholder of the Nixa Public Schools, At-large in Missouri. His current term ends in 2023. Alex Bryant was born in Ft Pierce, FL to unmarried, teenage parents. Around age six Alex moved to Macomb, IL, what he considers his hometown. Alex attended Evangel University on a football scholarship. Upon graduating with a degree in Business Management and a degree in Biblical Studies, he spent nine years working at MCI Worldcom. At the height of his career, Alex oversaw a sales team of a couple hundred people. In 2003 Alex transitioned from sales and became licensed as an Assemblies of God minister in 2004. A path that Alex felt called to pursue since age twelve. After holding several ministry positions at influential churches and ministries, in 2019 he and his wife launched Alex Bryant Ministries (ABM). ABM is a ministry that exists to help people be reconciled to God, themselves and their fellow man through written, spoken, and media content. In 2020 Alex earned his Masters Degree in Ministry and Leadership at The Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and today, Alex and Angela (also a licensed minister) work side by side to share their message of hope for unity at churches, businesses, and schools. They produce weekly podcast and have written a book.
