Judy Pagliuca is a Special Advisor to Bioinnovations, a middle stage biotech investment fund and founder of the Pagliuca Life Lab at Harvard University. She is also the Managing Partner at Pagsgroup, an early stage fund investing in Boston based companies. She began her business career at Fidelity Management as Portfolio Manager where she started the Fidelity Global Bond Fund and the research group on international bonds and currencies and was responsible for over $2bn in assets. Judy is involved in a number of philanthropic endeavors focusing on children and education. She is founder of Step Up Your Game, a partnership with the Boston Celtics that strives to alter the academic trajectory of the lowest achieving students in Boston Metro Public Schools. She is on the Executive Committee at the Ben Franklin Institute of Technology which is a historic institution founded by Ben Franklin to enable area high school students to gain skills in rewarding technical careers. Judy is the past Chair of the Duke University Trinity Board of Advisors, past Trustee of Mass Development, past Director of the Mass Turnpike and Trustee Emeritus of the Meadowbrook School of Weston. Originally from Chicago, Judy has a Bachelor’s of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Master in Business Administration from Harvard Business School. She also enjoys spending time with her four children and two grandchildren.
