Co founded Three Arrows Capital in 2012

Zhu is a Chinese immigrant who had come to the U.S. with his family when he was 6,. He is now a citizen of Singapore and has turned in his US passport. In 2022, Zhu and his partner Kyle Davies were making plans to abandon Singapore. They’d already moved some of the fund’s legal infrastructure to the British Virgin Islands, and in April 2022, Three Arrows announced it would move its headquarters to Dubai, which has no extradition treaty with the US or Singapore. Zhu and Davis purchased side-by-side villas in Dubai.
