Prior to joining MWW, Schwartz served as a special strategic advisor to Maurice R. Greenberg, the chairman and chief executive officer of C. V. Starr & Co., Inc., where he advised the CEO on all aspects of strategic communications, political activities, government affairs, lobbying and crisis management. Schwartz previously worked as a name partner of a Washington, D.C. based consulting firm advising professional services corporations on matters involving their strategic growth and expansion. Schwartz received his law degree, with honors, from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was a published editor for the Cardozo Law Review. He earned his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany. A regular donor to Republican political candidates and causes, in 2015, he donated $2,700 to the presidential campaigns of former governors Jeb Bush and Chris Christie.
