Erica’s background in government and politics is extensive, and she has significant experience working for a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives. As Legislative Assistant and Deputy Chief of Staff to then-Rep. Jim Saxton, she served as an advisor to the congressman in a variety of areas, most notably health care and education policy. Erica’s interest in government and politics began early in college, as she soaked up as many political science courses as possible on campus, and traveled to Washington, DC for a hands-on semester of seminars and internships in our nation’s capital. Following graduation, Erica began working for then-Rep. Jim Saxton, where she was instantly at home in the fast-paced, political environment on Capitol Hill. She worked for the congressman for nearly eight and a half years, receiving several promotions until she reached the position that was her best fit, Legislative Assistant for health care and education policy. Prior to his retirement in 2008, Erica also served as Rep. Saxton’s Deputy Chief of Staff.
