Tamer El-Rayess

El-Rayess is a founding member of Continental Finance, the largest shareholder, and serves as the Chairman of the Board. His significant financial industry experience provides CFC with valuable strategic guidance and connections to an extensive network of industry contacts. Mr. El-Rayess has more than 16 years experience as an investment banker where he has held several senior leadership positions at Scotia Capital, UBS Investment Bank, and Goldman Sachs. His banking experience generally revolved around taking principal risk and investing in companies and assets. In his role as principal at these investment banks, Mr. El-Rayess gained valuable insight into the best practices at most leading consumer finance companies in the US. As Chairman, Mr. El-Rayess amalgamated his experiences and observations of what makes the leading consumer finance companies superior organizations into the DNA of CFC. Mr. El-Rayess earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from New York University.
