Antón Castellanos Usigli, MPH, is a public health professional committed to global sexual health and sexual rights. Currently, he is the Director of Prevention Programs at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, managing a portfolio of four sexual health prevention programs that deliver services such as HIV/STI testing, STI treatment, Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and linkage to HIV medical care to hundreds of clients every year. At Wyckoff, he started an innovative online outreach strategy to link men who have sex with men (MSM) to HIV/STI testing, PrEP and other sexual health services. Antón's work of HIV prevention in Brooklyn was featured by The Guardian and Vox. He is a Member of the Global Advisory Board (GAB) for Sexual Health and Wellbeing, a group of global experts brought together by Durex (the leading condom and sexual wellbeing brand in the world) to advance the links between sexual health, sexual rights and sexual pleasure across policies and programs. In this role, Antón co-developed a training toolkit for future sexual and reproductive health service providers on how to implement counseling that effectively links sexual health, sexual rights and sexual pleasure, as well as guidelines on inclusivity about sexual orientation and gender identity/expression for Durex. Antón is the co-author of "Fulfil! Guidance Document for the Implementation of Young People’s Sexual Rights" (2016), published by the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). He has a Master of Public Health from Columbia University in New York City and has been a speaker in Congresses across twelve countries.
