Matt Barbey

Matt Barbey is the Executive Vice President of Barbey Capital Management which oversees private investments throughout the United States concentrating on commercial real estate and media publications. He also serves as the Director of Strategy for the Village Voice newspaper in New York City. Along with his parents, Pam and Peter Barbey, he is the advisor to their family foundation, the Edwin Barbey Charitable Trust, which has a named scholarship with Point Foundation. In addition to the Point scholarship, they work to fund charitable causes and organizations focusing on helping at-risk youth, the enrichment of the theatre and arts community, investigative journalism, and several other national and local non-profit campaigns. He lives in Greenwich Village, New York City with his wife, Oksana Barbey and their cat, Busya.
