Michael D Rose

Michael D. Rose has been Chairman of the Board of First Horizon National Corporation, a banking and financial services company, and its subsidiary, First Tennessee Bank National Association, since January 2007. He served as Chairman of the Board of Gaylord Entertainment Company from April 2001 to May 2005. Since 1998, Mr. Rose has been a private investor and Chairman of Midaro Investments, Inc., a privately held investment firm. Mr. Rose became Chairman of the Board of both the Promus Hotel Corporation and Harrah's Entertainment Inc., beginning in 1995, when the two companies split into two publicly traded companies. He retired from the boards of Harrah's in 1996 and Promus Hotel Corporation in 1997. Mr. Rose served as Chairman from 1990 to 1995, and Chief Executive Officer from 1990 to 1994, of The Promus Companies, Incorporated. Mr. Rose is also a director of Darden Restaurants, Inc. and Gaylord Entertainment Company.
