Richard Lovett is the President of leading entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA), with key offices in Los Angeles, New York, London, Nashville, and Beijing. Lovett and his partners are responsible for directing the agency’s overall business, including forging new areas that create more opportunities and resources for clients and the company. CAA is a global leader in the areas of broadcast rights, corporate marketing initiatives, and sports properties for sales and sponsorship opportunities. Lovett began his career in the mailroom of CAA before rising the ranks from agent trainee to agent in the Motion Picture department. He has been president of CAA since 1995. A native of Milwaukee, Lovett attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
