Frank J. Branchini is CEO of Group Health Incorporated (GHI) and Chairman and CEO of its wholly owned subsidiary, GHI HMO. He has ardently pursued the companys mission to make affordable quality health care available to all New Yorkers. GHI serves more than 2.6 million people, providing medical, hospital, and dental insurance and administrative services. In addition to insuring large and small businesses, GHI and GHI HMO participate in a variety of government-sponsored health programs that offer health coverage to traditionally underserved populations. These programs include Medicare + Choice, Managed Medicaid, Family Health Plus, Child Health Plus, and the Healthy New York plans for small companies and individuals. In addition to his leadership at GHI, Mr. Branchini has served as a member of the Cabrini Medical Center Board of Trustees for six years and was elected Chair of that Board in 2000. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Starlight Childrens Foundation, the American Arbitration Association, and the New York Junior Tennis League. He is a Partner in the New York City Partnership and Chamber of Commerce.
