Eugene Hicks

Hicks had been arrested in 1978 aboard a 57-foot yacht loaded with eight tons of marijuana, a case for which he was awaiting sentencing at the time of his death. Hicks’ body was found inside his home at 600 Hibiscus Dr. in Hallandale Beach on June 25, 1983. He had been shot in the chest and stabbed five times in the chest. Hicks and Adams were pals with George H. W. Bush's friend Aronow, according to Hicks’ daughter.
