David Birnbrey

As chairman and co-CEO, David Birnbrey is responsible for the overall management and growth of the Shopping Center Group’s 21 offices, as well as the direction of its tenant As chairman and co-CEO, David Birnbrey is responsible for the overall management and growth of the Shopping Center Group’s 21 offices, as well as the direction of its tenant services practice. Birnbrey began his career in 1980 in industrial real estate sales and leasing, but within two years he segued into retail; he joined TSCG in 1985, when the company’s headquarters was a two-room executive suite. Birnbrey has served on the executive committee of ChainLinks, the CRC Gold Council of the Urban Land Institute, and numerous charitable boards. He is a frequent speaker at the International Council of Shopping Centers and other industry events. Education: University of Georgia
