Don DeArmon spent 28 years on Capitol Hill – all in House offices – including 15 years working directly with the House Appropriations Committee. Since retiring from federal service, he has worked as a federal lobbyist representing non-profit organizations and now works as a writer and independent consultant. DeArmon was the 2000 and 2002 Democratic nominee for Congress in Maryland’s 6 Congressional District, and also ran for the 3rd Maryland State Senate district in 2010. Don DeArmon is a native of Maryland, and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
