In addition to aiding presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s campaign, Tracy Sefl advised the Democratic National Committee, served in multiple presidential campaign “war rooms,” and has been sought as a counselor and media advisor for gubernatorial and statewide campaigns. As a U.S.-based strategist, she also assisted a successful presidential reelection in East Africa. Tracy has appeared as a Democratic strategist on all major news networks. Tracy earned a B.A. in sociology and music at Cornell College, earned an M.A. and conducted Ph.D. studies in sociology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. After many years in Washington, she and her husband, Northwestern University professor Darius Tandon, now live exactly 2.5 miles from Wrigley Field in Chicago.
