Marian Catedral-King is the Policy, Government and Public Affairs (PGPA) lead for Chevron in the Southwest covering Orange County, San Diego, Nevada, New Mexico and Arizona. She previously held the Northwest role based at the corporate headquarters in San Ramon where she covered Northern California and the Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon and Alaska). As Field Manager, she provides public affairs and communications counsel to support Chevron’s Downstream business covering community/local government stakeholder management, strategic community gift giving, media/risk communications, issues management and local advocacy. Marian joined Chevron in 1999 as Public Affairs Manager of Chevron Philippines and came to the United States in 2006 on a developmental assignment with Chevron Corporation. Prior to entering corporate life, Marian held various positions in the executive and legislative branches of the Philippine government. She is an alumna of the University of the Philippines and a proud supporter of Filipino-American initiatives in the communities she is part of.
