Peter D Welte

Peter Welte is a shareholder in the Vogel Law Firm, where his practice focuses on criminal defense and agriculture law. Prior to joining the Vogel Law Firm, Mr. Welte served as the elected State’s Attorney of Grand Forks County, from 2003 to 2015, and as a line prosecutor in that same office from 1999 to 2003. Mr. Welte is an Adjunct Instructor at the University of North Dakota School of Law, where he teaches Agricultural Law and State and Local Government Law. Mr. Welte received his B.S. from North Dakota State University and his J.D., with distinction, from the University of North Dakota.
