Jeanne Milliken Bonds Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond Senior Manager, Community Development Charlotte, NC Websitehttps://richmondfed.org/community_development/community_highlights I lead the Regional Community Development for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond’s District which includes Maryland, D.C., Virginia, most of West Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. I also lead several Federal Reserve System teams, including a team focused on the Community Reinvestment Act and a team focused on rural policy issues. I previously worked for the N.C. Courts as a special assistant to the Chief Justice and Deputy Director; and, the N.C. Rural Economic Development Center where I focused on community and economic development initiatives across North Carolina, including leadership on several major initiatives around broadband. I served as an elected official on a town council in N.C., including Mayor Pro Tem and Mayor, and am a former media entrepreneur, hosting television and radio programs. I am very active in communities activities and philanthropy, and always have been. I have a B.A. in Economics and a M.P.A. (concentration in public policy) from the University of N.C. at Chapel Hill. In 1997, and I was North Carolina’s recipient of the Henry Toll Fellowship from the Council of State Governments. Go Tar Heels!
