Wade W. Loo Retired Partner, KPMG Wade is a retired KPMG audit partner. During 30 years at KPMG, he worked with companies in the United States and internationally. Prior to retiring from KPMG, Wade served as the senior partner in charge of audit for the Northern California business unit, which consists of the KPMG offices in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Sacramento and Honolulu. In addition, Wade led KPMG’s Audit Committee Institute (ACI) in Silicon Valley, which provides corporate governance and best practices support to board members through publications, seminars and share forums. Wade served for eight years in KPMG’s offices in Tokyo, Beijing and Singapore. Wade is currently the Chair of the Daniels College of Business Executive Advisory Board at the University of Denver. He has previously served as a board member and audit committee chair of public companies. Wade is a member of the board of JobTrain, an organization that helps people in need in East Palo Alto and surrounding communities find meaningful jobs. In addition, he is past co-president of Ascend, an organization focused on Pan-Asian leadership development. During his tenure in China, he served as the Treasurer of the American Chamber of Commerce in Beijing. Wade is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of CPAs. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Denver.
