Mr. Albinson is a Managing Partner with Emergent Capital Partners, an Indonesia-focused private equity firm. Mr. Albinson has been an active emerging market real estate investor for over fifteen years with a specific focus on Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia. Mr. Albinson has extensive entrepreneurial and leadership experience. He is the Chairman and former Chief Executive Officer of Aravo Solutions, a cloud-based software company focused on enterprise risk management, compliance, and sustainability. While at Aravo, Mr. Albinson raised over $50 million in financing and served the needs of global clients including GE, DuPont, J&J, Cisco, Unilever, P&G, and Pfizer. Previously, Mr. Albinson worked as an investment banker in New York with Goldman Sachs as a member of the Institutional Client Services group where he served the needs of the firm’s clients across a broad range of asset classes (fixed income, currencies, commodities) and products (new issuances, structured products, derivatives). Mr. Albinson has been an advocate for conservation and sustainability for over two decades, and has worked with organizations including World Wildlife Fund, The Nature Conservancy, American Forests, and Fundacion Natura, Ecuador’s leading conservation group. Mr. Albinson holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley, where he was a Walter A. Haas Scholar. He also holds a B.A in English Literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He serves on numerous private company and nonprofit boards. Mr. Albinson resides in San Anselmo, CA with his wife Heather and their three children – Maxfield, Skye and Blake.
