Viktor Alexeevich Zubkov

Zubkov has known Putin since the Soviet era and is reported to be one of his most trusted confidants. Zubkov's ex-son-in-law Anatoliy Serdyukov was a previous Russian defence minister. Gazprom and other energy giants have been hit by suspicious deaths during Putin’s war in Ukraine. Zubkov is also chairman of the board of trustees of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, founded in 1866. Two other pro-Putin political leaders Sergei Mironov, 71, and Leonid Slutsky, 56, serve on the same board of trustees headed by Zubkov.
