Mr. Buthman was named to his current position in 2003. As Chief Financial Officer, his scope of responsibility extends beyond Finance and Accounting and includes Real Estate, Corporate Communications, and Information Technology Services. Mr. Buthman has led or participated in more than 50 acquisitions or divestitures totaling more than $15 billion in value as K-C began transitioning its business profile in the late 1990’s into a provider of global health and hygiene solutions. Among his recent achievements, Mr. Buthman reengineered the global finance department to provide higher levels of support to K-C’s business teams at lower cost. Mr. Buthman is an active participant in the Standards & Poor Corporate Rating Issuers Council and the Dallas Area CFO Roundtable. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of K-C de Mexico. Mr. Buthman, his wife Tammy and their three children reside in the Dallas area.
