Sara McCullough serves as the interim vice president of Impact, and oversees all strategy and implementation for United Way’s Results-Based Impact Programs and Initiatives across all areas of focus: early learning, career pathways and pipelines and economic self sufficiency. Sara’s belief in the power of local community, volunteers and connections has been a driving force of her career. In addition to her current role, she previously served as UWGPSNJ’s associate vice president, Impact, a role in which she oversaw programs, initiatives and investments. As Director of United Ways of the Delaware Valley and later UWGPSNJ’s Senior Director of Regional Integration, she played a critical role in the 2012 merger that formed UWGPSNJ, driving the integration of back office support services to support the new organization. Sara’s nonprofit career spans 25 years, including roles with United Way of Central Massachusetts and United Way of Southeast Delaware County. She holds a BA in Sociology from the College of Wooster (Wooster, Ohio), and is a 2016 graduate of the Nonprofit Executive Leadership Institute (NELI) leadership program at Bryn Mawr’s Graduate School of Social Work.
