Jonathan Kessler

Jonathan Kessler serves as AIPAC’s Director of Strategic Initiatives responsible for identifying organizational challenges and opportunities and developing recommendations for dealing with them. Jonathan returned to AIPAC after a 15 year hiatus. While away from AIPAC, Jonathan served as Executive Editor of Middle East Insight magazine and President of Kessler Associates, Inc., a Washington-based political consulting firm specializing in Middle East public diplomacy. Previously at AIPAC from 1980 –1987, Jonathan developed AIPAC’s first-ever national student program, and co-authored The AIPAC College Guide: Exposing the Anti-Israel Campaign on Campus. Jonathan has served on the boards of MAZON, PANIM, and Seeds of Peace. He has spoken before audiences in 49 states, Canada, England and Australia.
