Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, Anne Stupp earned a BA in History from the University of Nebraska. In 1980 she started in residential design in Phoenix and founded Casa Bella Interiors while working as Vice President, Design, for Anorzira Development, designing interiors for award-winning townhomes, photographed for Better Homes and Garden. In 1990, Anne moved to St. Louis, continuing in design (including restaurants in Scottsdale and Phoenix). Residential designs in Phoenix Home and Garden. She is a member of International Furniture and Design Association (IFDA). Anne and her late husband, Robert, served on many non-profit boards benefiting Greater St. Louis. She served two terms as Commissioner and Board President for historic Tower Grove Park, the city’s second largest park, and one of only seven National Historic Landmark Urban Parks. In 2017, Anne joined the national Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Board of Trustees. She is Emeritus Commissioner of Tower Grove Park; serves on Great Circle’s Regional Board for underserved youth in Missouri and Illinois; and Lifelong Vision Foundation St. Louis. Specializing in development for non-profits, as a board member she originated/ chaired many fundraising events for St. Louis non-profits: Lifelong Vision galas 2012 and 2017; Flower Power (Tower Grove Park); plus regional galas for Southern Illinois School of Business; Goodwill Industries 80th Anniversary; 40th Anniversary for Life Skills (Easter Seals Midwest). Other boards: The Beacon (online news, now NPR St. Louis); St. Louis Artist Guild; Shakespeare Festival. In Phoenix, she chaired the 2017 Desert Botanical Garden’s inaugural benefit for Conservation Alliance. Ms. Stupp resides in Paradise Valley, Arizona.
