Ryan J. Sladek is the VP and Florida Market Director for PNC Institutional Asset Management and PNC Capital Advisors. In this role, Ryan is responsible for leading a team of investment professionals who provide investment management and administrative services to corporations, municipalities, hospitals, retirement plans, non-profits, foundations, and endowments. Ryan joined PNC in 2013. He began his career at Merrill Lynch in Jacksonville, Fl. Ryan previously spent 8 years with Branch Bank & Trust Company (BB&T) in Orlando, FL as senior business development officer for their Retirement and Institutional Service division. Mr. Sladek’s professional affiliations include membership in the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) and Florida Public Pension Trustees Association (FPPTA). Mr. Sladek is a member of the Board of Directors and Finance Committee for the Hillsborough Community College Foundation, serves on the development committee for the Glazer Children’s Museum, and serves as trustee for the Florida Chamber Foundation. He was previously an investment committee member for the Raleigh Rotary Club. Ryan earned both a B.S.B.A. in Finance and his M.B.A from the University of Florida. He achieved the Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) designation through the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries and is currently studying for the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation. He holds the following FINRA securities licenses- Series 7, Series 63 and Series 65 as a registered investment advisor. Ryan lives in Tampa with his wife Meghan. He has one son Grayson Ryan and a second son, Sutton Beau due May 2015. The Sladek family are members at Christ the King Catholic Church in South Tampa.
