Tiffani V. Williams is an associate with the Health Care Regulatory Group. Ms. Williams concentrates her practice on health care regulatory and legislative matters relating to the provision of health care services by various providers, including hospitals and clinical laboratories. She has counseled clients on a variety of health-related issues involving Medicare, Medicaid and other third-party payer systems, including the following: privacy and confidentiality of health information, requests for national coverage determinations, provider conditions of participation, change of ownership requirements, reimbursement issues and matters related to the Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit (Part D). She has also assisted clients with comments to various proposed and final regulations and written health care advisories for clients. Ms. Williams received her J.D. in 2004 from the University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall). During law school, Ms. Williams participated in the East Bay Community Law Center’s HIV/AIDS Law Center as a Thelen, Reid & Priest Fellow. Prior to law school, she received her M.P.H. in the epidemiology of microbial diseases from the Yale University, School of Public Health and Epidemiology in 2001. While at Yale, Ms. Williams was a member of the Yale Journal of Health Policy, Law and Ethics and interned at the Health Resources and Services Administration, HIV/AIDS Bureau.
