Professional Expertise Hether has extensive experience in the Philadelphia region and nationally as she has led the project team for several corporate accounts for real estate consulting, strategic planning, asset acquisition and disposition including pharmaceutical, legal, healthcare and professional service clients. Hether began her career at Studley (now Savills Studley) in 1988 after 15 years in management and strategic planning with Interspace Incorporated and The Fantus Group, where she specialized in developing long-range real estate strategies for 6.5 million square feet of projects on behalf of large corporate clients like United Technologies, Vanguard and Chrysler. In her 26 years at Savills Studley, she has completed nearly 30 million square feet of transactions valued in excess of $1 billion. Hether has been recognized six times as one of Savills Studley’s top brokers nationally. In 1995, she was promoted to branch manager. She serves as the broker of record for Savills Studley in Pennsylvania, Delaware and West VIrginia. She has served as a guest speaker for the AIA National Convention, SMPS, NNCREW, the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Urban Planning and The Wharton School and was selected as one of Real Estate Forum’s “Superstar Office Leasing Brokers” for 1997. In 1996, she was appointed to the Pennsylvania Honor Roll of Women, in 2002 named one of the Philadelphia Business Journal's "Women of Distinction," and was recently honored by Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) of Philadelphia for her “significant contributions to the Philadelphia commercial real estate industry over the last 25 years.” Hether is a past president of the Philadelphia chapter of NNCREW, having served every elective office in the organization. She is a member and former board member of the Tri-State Realtors, Urban Land Institute and The Wharton School’s Zell Lurie Real Estate Institute, where she also serves as a student mentor. She serves on the Board, Executive Committee and the Membership Committee of the Central Philadelphia Development Corporation (CPDC). She is Past President and Executive Committee member of the Board for The Arden Theater and former President of the Board of Philadanco. She is Finance Chair of the Board of Women’s Campaign International. She lives with her husband of 36 years in Center City Philadelphia and has a 33-year-old daughter.
