Clive Runnells

Runnells is a fourth-generation cattleman who owns the AP Ranch near Bay City. A genuine River Oaks blueblood, Runnells made his fortune through mutual-fund management, reared eight children, and as early as 1954 ventured into small-town cable operations in Pennsylvania and Missouri. Mr. Runnells was owner and president of Mid-Coast Cable Television, and has been a valuable innovator and businessman in the cable TV industry for half a century. He is also a ranch owner, a cattle feeder and feed lot operator who is heavily involved in the operation and advocacy of the cattle industry in Texas.
