Boh, a lifelong New Orleanian and longtime CEO of Boh Bros. Construction Co., died Friday October 20 2017. He was 87. A graduate of Jesuit High School who attended Tulane University, he joined Boh Bros. in 1955 as an engineer on the first Mississippi River Bridge project in New Orleans. In 1967, Boh became president and CEO of the second generation of the construction company that his father and uncle founded in 1909. He served as its leader until 1993. A former Rex, king of Carnival, Boh also served as chairman of the board at Tulane and was known for his philanthropic efforts in the New Orleans community. He served as president of the Chamber in 1985 and was on the boards of numerous local organizations and companies. Boh is survived by his wife, Katherine, and his three children: Robert, Elizabeth and Stephen.
