Tragedy struck at Ramoji Film City (RFC) on Thursday night during the silver jubilee celebrations of Vistex Asia-Pacific. Illinois-based CEO Sanjay Shah, 56, died of his injuries. The company's president, Vishwanath Raju Datla, is battling for his life. After graduating from Lehigh with an MBA in 1989, Shah entered the corporate world. Ten years later, Shah founded the global software company Vistex, Inc. Sanjay Shah is Founder of Vistex, Inc. and serves as its Chief Executive Officer and Chief Architect. Mr. Shah served as President of Vistex, Inc. He was employed for 6 years as a Platinum Consultant and Logistics Developer with SAP America and SAP AG, Germany, prior to Vistex. He has contributed to over 80 SAP projects. He has invaluable experience. He worked at several prominent corporations in Accounting and Logistics roles before joining SAP as an Applications Consultant in 1993. He has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an MBA in Finance. He also holds several leading certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) and CTL (Certified in Transportation and Logistics). He donated $5 million to Lehigh University for the Vistex Institute for Executive Learning and Research.
