Gayle Filo joined Pennrose Management Company in March 2016 as Vice President of Operations. She is responsible for property oversight in Maryland, areas of southeastern and western Pennsylvania, and Ohio. Ms. Filo has over 25 years in the property management business, managing for owner-managers and fee clients alike. Her portfolio responsibilities have included condominiums, co-ops and HOA’s, retail centers and office buildings. Her multifamily experience spans from luxury high-rise to distressed urban properties, including many new construction lease-ups and various affordable programs across multiple markets. She has served as the Director of Privatized Housing at Fort Meade, Maryland and as training director for a Baltimore-based full-service real estate firm. Ms. Filo started her career in the luxury hotel business after graduating from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. She holds several professional designations including 20 years as a Certified Property Manager (CPM) through the Institute of Real Estate Management; Certified Defense Privatization Manager (CDPM) Levels I & II, a joint designation of the Professional Housing Management Association, IREM and the National Apartment Association; and Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) through the National Board of Community Association Managers. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for IREM Chapter 92 in West Central Maryland.
