Doug Shipman has been president and CEO of the Woodruff Arts Center since 2017, overseeing the operations of the Alliance Theatre, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and High Museum of Art. Previously he was the CEO and managing director of BrightHouse, a business unit of the Boston Consulting Group, and founding CEO of the Center for Civil and Human Rights, whose board he still sits on.
