Tim McGough, a longtime executive with Roseville-based McGough Construction and active member of Minnesota’s construction industry, died in his sleep Monday morning at the age of 62, the company said Tuesday. McGough, a fifth-generation member of the McGough Construction family, started in the company’s warehousing operations at age 14 and advanced to his most recent job as executive vice president. Company officials remember McGough as a tireless worker who developed strong relationships with industry partners, including designers, engineers, subcontractors and the carpenters union. He recently stepped down as chair of the union’s Board of Trustees. McGough graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in management information systems. McGough is survived by his wife Jane Salmen McGough, his daughters Melissa and Molly, Jane’s daughters Kristi, Kallie and Paige, and his grandson, Rafael.
