Ray Warner has worked closely with Smith Dawson & Andrews since 1998, when he formally integrated his private consulting business with the firm. Mr. Warner's expertise is in the commercial and governmental aspects of aviation, aerospace, railroad, transit, and automotive transportation in the United States. Most recently he has served Northup Grumman, General Electric, the Certified Automotive Parts Association (CAPA), Maximus, and the George Washington University Aviation Institute. Mr. Warner is a graduate of the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, and sits on its Washington Council. Brian Hannigan has a broad public affairs background, with experience in public relations, government relations, grassroots advocacy and media relations in the public and private sectors. Prior to joining Smith Dawson & Andrews in 2007, Mr. Hannigan served as a departmental deputy director in the administration of former Virginia Governor Mark R. Warner, and as communications director for the Virginia Baseball Stadium Authority and the City of Alexandria, Virginia. He also previously served as a managing director with Hill & Knowlton Public Affairs and as an external relations director with PhRMA, a major trade association.
