Tom W Olofson

Tom W. Olofson served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for EPIQ Systems, Inc. from July 1988 until 2016. Mr. Olofson led a private investor group that acquired EPIQ Systems Inc. in July 1988. During his business career, Mr. Olofson has held various management positions with Xerox Corporation and was a Senior Vice President and Member of the Office of the President of Marion Laboratories Inc. Mr. Olofson also serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of various private companies in which he is an investor. He served as a Director of EPIQ Systems, Inc. since July 1988. He serves as a Member of the Board of Visitors of the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. He served as a Director of Saztec International Inc., since November 1991. Tom was born on October 10, 1941 in Buffalo, New York, to Ragnar “Bill” Olofson and Ingrid (Eriksson) Olofson. The Olofson Family moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, where Tom graduated from Palm Beach High School in 1959. He was an avid basketball player in high school and received a full athletic scholarship to play basketball for the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. He earned a BBA degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Ragnar “Bill” and Ingrid Olofson, along with his brother, John Erik Olofson. He is survived by many family and friends, and his two adoring grandchildren: Preston Tom Olofson and Ella Darina Olofson.
