Ed Brookover

Before joining Corey Lewandowski and Barry Bennett at Avenue Strategies, Brookover served as a Senior Advisor for President Trump’s campaign. Brookover managed the Trump delegate selection process and worked with the Trump team through the Republican National Convention. Previously in the 2016 Presidential election, Brookover was the Senior Strategist and then Campaign Manager for Dr. Ben Carson. The Carson campaign raised more money than any other candidate, prior to his withdrawal, and was the only Republican candidate to lead President Trump in national surveys after the first debate in August 2015. Brookover is often seen on many of the national cable television talk shows on CNN, Fox News Channel and MSNBC. Brookover is also quoted often in The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, as well as virtually all the key online political publications. Since 2001, Brookover served as Chairman of the Political Practice for the public affairs firm, Greener and Hook. He had the honor of working with a wide array of political clients from Governor Pat McCrory (R-NC) to Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) to Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN). Greener and Hook has an active public practice as well, with clients ranging from the National Beer Wholesalers Association and Coors Corporation to the Credit Union National Association and a variety of telecom companies. Immediately prior to joining Greener and Hook, Brookover served as Vice President of Political Affairs for Bonner & Associates. While at Bonner, Brookover developed grassroots and public relations strategies for clients such as the Business RoundTable, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Information Technology Industry Council (ITIC) and the Nuclear Energy Institute. Brookover previously had served as the national director for campaigns for all three Republican national committees. Brookover’s hands-on campaign experience in all fifty states led Roll Call, Capitol Hill’s leading newspaper, to label him a “svengali” for Republican Members of Congress and candidates. Brookover’s work has not been limited to politics in this country. He has served as an advisor to the Prime Minister’s election in Greece and his advice and counsel has been sought out by conservative parties in England, Canada, Australia, Belgium, and Taiwan. Brookover has been married to his wife Barbara for thirty-five years. They reside in Falls Church, Virginia. Ed is currently serving as President of the National Association of Republican Campaign Professionals.
