Karli Forman Hagedorn is Chairman of the Friends of the Sands Point Preserve, a nonprofit organization that preserves and protects a 216 acre park and preserve, formerly the Guggenheim Estate. She is also Chairman and Co-Founder of Farms for City Kids, which is a working farm in Reading, VT, that, since the mid 1990s, provides a stimulating outdoor classroom where urban youth can explore new dimensions of learning and academics are integrated into everyday farm activities. Karli is a Trustee Emeritus of Buckley Country Day School and has served on numerous Boards, including the Family and Childrens Association of Long Island, the Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and The Portledge School in Locust Valley, NY. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College, 1981.
