Laurin Groover

Ms. Groover brings over ten years of Capitol Hill experience and leads a team of government relations experts on Capitol Hill. Prior to joining ABDG, Ms. Groover served as Legislative Director to Congressman Joe Wilson (SC). She was the principal advisor on legislation and policy. She handled the Congressman's House Armed Services Committee work and managed his priority project requests in both the authorization and appropriations process. This included extensive work with all sectors of the defense community on a wide array of issues such as terrorism, homeland security, and equipping our men and women in uniform. Ms. Groover received a BA in American Studies from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. She is a former president of the South Carolina State Society and past chairman of the South Carolina Presidential Inaugural Ball Committee. She is a recipient of the Palmetto Patriot Award.
