As Legislative Assistant for Mattoon & Associates, Ashley is responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the office. Additionally, Ashley assists with legislative research and other tasks to support the firm's Principals and Associates in meeting clients' goals and needs. Prior to joining Mattoon & Associates, Ashley served in the offices of Congressman Wayne T. Gilchrest and Congressman Roscoe Bartlett and at the Maryland General Assembly House Republican Caucus, all which served to hone her interest and experience in Maryland Republican politics. She was also a volunteer for the 2006 Ehrlich-Cox gubernatorial campaign and for the 2004 Bush-Cheney campaign. Ashley holds a BA in political science from Washington College in Chestertown, MD.
