Jerry Geraghty has served RGI since he joined the board in 1999. He was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in 2003 and elected President and CEO in 2005 upon the retirement of Don Williamson. Throughout his tenure with RGI, Geraghty’s first priority for all employees has always been safety. His persistence and drive for continuous improvement in safety was evidenced by RGI winning the 2012 NSSGA Sterling Award for Large Companies. Geraghty’s dedication to the aggregates and road building industries has been demonstrated in roles of leadership in NSSGA, the American Road and Transportation Builders Association and other trade organizations. He has also served as an advocate of corporate social responsibility and has led by example through his involvement. He has served on the boards of United Way of Metropolitan Nashville (Chairman, 2010), Boys and Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee and several other organizations.
