Emre Umar

Emre Umar, CMC’s President, has been a top Correctional Healthcare executive since 1990. Mr. Umar is a "hands‑on" administrator who has led CMC to its position as an industry leader. He is actively involved in all phases of the day-to-day operations of the company, with a concentration on building client relationships and ensuring that CMC performance, in all cases, meets and exceeds client expectations. Prior to CMC, he grew a prior correctional healthcare company from a single contract to one responsible for the delivery of healthcare services to approximately 40,000 inmates at 32 correctional facilities in six states, with facilities ranging in size from 300 to 3,600 inmates and revenues of $60 million. Mr. Umar also directed and oversaw the opening of two wholly owned subsidiaries of the company, focused on laboratory and pharmacy services respectively.
