In April 2000, he retired from General Motors Corporation, Detroit, Michigan (manufacturer of motor vehicles), where he was Group Vice President, North American Vehicle Sales, Service and Marketing, a position he had held since July 1999. Mr. Roberts is also a Director of Abbott Laboratories.
