Freshman has over 30 years of intense engagement with major environmental issues, including the original Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, Endangered Species Act, wetlands protections program, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, National Environmental Policy Act, federal reclamation law and other federal legislative proposals and regulations. In this capacity, he has been involved in every appropriations issue that affects water and infrastructure, resulting in his work concerning water supply, dams, flood control and navigation. Freshman has successfully assisted clients in achieving over a quarter of a million dollars worth of funding for ground flood control protections, regulatory relief from provisions of the Clean Water Act and water supply initiatives funding for water recycling projects.
