Federal Monitor, NYC Department of Environmental Protection
A. Patrick Nucciarone, a former federal prosecutor who specialized in environmental cases, was appointed by the court in 2001 to serve as a Federal monitor of the NYC Department of Environmental Protection after the agency pleaded guilty to violating federal environmental laws. Mr. Nucciarone was an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey.
